Founder of SpaniCool Academy and creator of the SPEAK Method™

I’m Colombian living in Canada — yes, I traded tropical weather for snowy winters. But it also meant leaving my daily life in Spanish and speaking two foreign languages, so I truly understand what it’s like to hear someone, understand them, but freeze and not know what to say.

🔥 The Moment Everything Changed

I studied Language Teaching, specialized in teaching Spanish to English speakers.

When I worked at language schools, I kept seeing the same pattern:

Students could learn grammar.

They could memorize vocabulary.

They could do exercises, worksheets, flashcards…

But when it was time to SPEAK?

They froze - every single time.

That’s when I realized something important:

Knowing grammar doesn’t make you a speaker.
Real communication requires confidence, natural practice, and learning from mistakes.
Speaking is not a “final step.” It’s the method.

Why I Created the S.P.E.A.K. Method™

I created the S.P.E.A.K. Method™ to help English speakers finally learn Spanish the way humans learn to communicate:

Through guided conversations, real-life questions, and meaningful interaction — not memorizing lists or drilling conjugations.

Because here’s the truth:

You can mispronounce a word or mix up a verb tense…
and people will still understand you.

But if you don’t know how to:

start a conversation,
keep it alive,
ask follow-up questions,
or respond naturally…

Then knowing the difference between two verb tenses won’t help you communicate.
